JOB PURPOSE:
• The Incumbents core responsibilities will be to consolidate and facilitate the annual budgeting process, coordinate and communicate with all business units, to prepare analytical reports by analyzing bank data on a monthly / quarterly/ annual basis.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Prepare Annual Budget and delivering the budget package to board of directors on time.
• Coordinate with IT and MIS to ensure accuracy of data loaded to ‘Hyperion business and planning system’.
• Maintain and update Hyperion hierarchies of different dimensions, rules and forms on regular basis in order to keep the system in sync with OFSA.
• Prepare ALCO package to measure the degree to which risk would increase/decrease as a result of understanding particular investment.
• Prepare the monthly expense report comparing the actual trends with the approved budget for the period under analysis.
• Develop Adhoc analysis & interpretation for all existing new reports prepared by budget department.
• Update and maintain department SOPs.
• Ensure accuracy and accountability in delivering of all reports.
KEY SKILLS :
• Effective behavioral skills such as time management / communication / problem solving / planning / organizing and creativity.
• Effective technical skills such as management & financial accounting/ financial reporting/ business analytical skills/Islamic banking/knowledge of products and report writing skills.
Minimum Experience:
Minimum 5 Years working experience in a similar function.
Language Skills:
• Strong in both oral and written : English and Arabic
