Job Requirements
KEY OBJECTIVE:
We are looking for a Sr Software engineer who will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, maintaining, and implementing applications used to process inbound and outbound transactions with our clients and business partners. You will also work with other developers/teams optimizing in-application SQL statements as necessary and establishing best practices.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Combine IT skills with business knowledge to develop, enhance and maintain applications
• Complete research and problem-solving tasks with minimal supervision
• Design and develop tables with appropriate constraints and indexes
• Create/Update stored procedures, functions, views, triggers and other SQL Server objects
• Develop, modify and debug complex SSIS packages with control and data flows – both package and project deployment
• Maintain existing database objects and systems
• Prepare documentations and specifications which include file layouts, data mapping
• Collaborate with other team members and business stakeholders
• Work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities to meet goals and deadlines
Required Skill and Experience:
• Fluent in English
• 7+ years of applied experience in SQL server programming
• T-SQL programming – analysis of complex stored procedures, views, functions, triggers
• ETL design and development using SSIS
• Development of high-quality database solutions
• Skilled at optimizing large, complicated SQL statements
• Capable of troubleshooting common database issues
• Familiar with tools that can aid with profiling server resource usage and optimizing it
• Hands-on development using .NET technologies
• Review and interpret ongoing business needs
• Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
• Strong organizational, detail-oriented skills
• Strong experience in Microsoft SQL server, T-SQL and SSRS
• Experience in performance tuning of complex stored procedures
• Experience in creating/enhancing SQL server reports (rdls)
• Experience with SQL server Management Studio and MS Visual Studio
• Ability to write complex SQL queries/scripts and develop processes leveraging SSIS
• Experience in file transfer mechanisms such as FTP
Desired Skill and Experience:
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• 7 to 10 years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role
• Experience using JIRA and Microsoft TFS
• 5 to 7 years of experience with SQL Server and SQL Server data tools (SSIS, SSRS) or similar SQL and ETL
• 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in C#, .NET, Web API, JSON,
