This is an exciting time to join our community. We have a new, state of the art facility, that is one of the world's pedagogically advanced campuses. We are a successful, growing school with a highly committed and motivated team of teaching professionals at our heart. Our close knit and supportive team is proud of our school and community, educating around 900 young people from 67 nationalities each year. Over the last 4 years our IB students have achieved an average point score of 35 and our IGCSE students achieved 63% A*/A across all entries. About the role
As a Dutch Teacher you will be able to make full use of our facilities by being committed to a modern, constructivist inquiry-based and personalised approach to learning that inspires and engages students. In line with this, we would expect you to have experience with, or an interest with, concept-driven, inquiry based curricula and be able to speak passionately about the impact on student engagement and learning. You will have a growth mindset, be able to deal with ambiguity and be motivated by participating fully in all aspects of school life. You must have experience with various modern international curricula.
About you
Able to create a classroom culture when there are no limits to what can be achieved, you will have a degree in your specialist subject, a teaching qualification plus considerable teaching experience and knowledge of the curriculum. Receptive to feed back and ready to embrace change, you will be keen to share best practice with colleagues and peers.
A strong ambassador for the school, you will be able to develop new ways to engage students and parents with the wider school and the Nord Anglia Education community. Your strong motivation and communication skills will also enable you to create a feeling of energy, excitement and personal investment within the classroom.
You must be able to meet visa-related restrictions for the Unites States of America (The Americas Region) including having British or American Citizenship or having authorization to work in the Unites States. If you are a British Citizen you must have a PGCE and/or QTS.
