ABOUT US: Cafe Arta & Pub at Third Place is a family owned restaurnt nestled inside of Third Place Books Ravenna. We feature a full brunch menu on the weekends, and offer lunch and dinner every day. Cafe Arta is both a restaurant upstairs, and a hidden pub downstairs with a kind of speakeasy vibe.
ROLE SUMMARY: Cafe Arta is seeking a hardworking and dedicated *Busser/Runner. *The Busser/Runner will be responsible for setting and resetting tables in a speedy and professional manner during and after service. The ideal candidate possesses a guest first attitude, strong commitment to service, and excellent communication skills. We ask for a willingness to receive and offer direction, be solutions oriented, and encourage a hospitality driven environment. Open availability is preferred. THIS IS A TIPPED POSITION.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Works with a sense of urgency to anticipate the needs of customers and other team members.
• Assists servers with food & beverage service to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintains cleanliness of stations with necessary equipment including silverware, linen, condiments beverages.
• Wipe down booths and chairs, move tables and chairs, and clean floors as necessary.
• Responsible for keeping the back of the restaurant clean and organized.
• Responsible for maintaining appropriate inventory and proper condition of equipment and operating supplies.
• Communicates with management, and all other service staff regarding all customer needs comments or incidents.
• Cleans all spills immediately and notifies other staff members about potential hazards.
• Ensures compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Performs all opening and closing duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
• A Certified Food Handlers card is required.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Must be able to stand during entire shift, often up to 8 hours with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting plates, boxes, and objects up to 30lbs.
• Must be willing to go up and downstairs carrying food or drinks.
• Must have excellent time management skills.
• Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be reliable, responsible, and trustworthy.
• Must have high energy, great communication skills, and able to work as part of a team.
• Must have attention to detail and willingness to deliver exceptional customer service.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
