LCRA is seeking a highly motivated and energetic individual to lead a team supporting the budgeting, reporting, metrics, benchmarking and strategic planning efforts in support of our Transmission groups. We are one of the leading Transmission utilities in the state, and this role will direct efforts that support our efforts to meet the energy needs in our rapidly growing service territory. You will have the opportunity to work with staff from all of LCRA, including senior management, and to lead efforts that will make a difference every day. You will be trusted to:
• Leads and coordinates the development of the annual budget for LCRA's Transmission business
• Leads the Transmission function in metric tracking and reporting for internal, executive, and strategic dashboards.
• Leads development of Transmission strategy, vision, goals, and objectives, including scenario planning and development of key initiatives.
• Provides regular and ad-hoc reports on the operations and maintenance (O&M) budget, capital improvement budget (CIP) and Transmission goals and objectives.
• Develops, analyzes and evaluates cost of service requirements and rate impacts in collaboration with applicable regulatory and finance groups.
• Initiates and leads special projects as requested by LCRA and Transmission leadership.
You qualify with:
• Twelve or more years of experience in a finance, business support or relevant experience, including three years of leadership experience.
• A degree(s) in finance, business, economics, or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.

• Experience working for a Transmission, Distribution or similar utility.
• Experience directing, coordinating and working with cross-functional teams.
• Prior work experience in strategic and scenario planning.
• Experience in metrics, benchmarking and the creation of dashboards and other visualizations.
