Position Description
Parsons Counseling & Play Therapy Center is seeking counselors to provide therapeutic services for children, teens, and adults in outpatient and telehealth settings. We offer unique treatment options to clients by integrating play and expressive therapy techniques with traditional counseling approaches. In addition to individual and group counseling, we offer psychiatric services, Comprehensive Community Support services, and Targeted Case Management. We serve Madison county and surrounding areas, with locations in Berea and Richmond, KY.
Part-time and full-time positions are available. Full-time benefits include health insurance, paid vacation and sick time, paid holidays, in-service training, and financial support for certifications in Theraplay, AutPlay, EMDR, and TF-CBT, and Play Therapy. We also offer a range of additional benefits such as short-term disability, dental, and accident/cancer insurance.
Position Responsibilities
• Provide quality counseling services that are in accordance with agency, state and professional standards
• Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner
• Participate in staff meetings and in-service training
• Coordinate with other staff and the clinical director
• Communicate with community partners to advocate for client needs
Minimum Qualifications
• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology or a related field / graduating with this Master's degree during the current semester
• Independent or provisional license in counseling or a related field / elgibile for license upon completing Master's degree this semester
• Completion of a successful criminal background check

Pay
Part-time: Varies
Full-time: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
