Job description:
LIPTON Teas and Infusions Bangladesh Limited, the largest tea business with a remarkable portfolio of Taaza and Lipton as its brand is looking for a dedicated 'Factory Manager' for its Supply Chain Department entailing the following responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities:
1. Detailed knowledge of the end-to-end manufacturing processes relevant to their operation and endorsed Good Manufacturing Practice
2. Identification of preventative maintenance schemes and condition monitoring (e.g., vibration analysis), Hazardous Area Equipment and Hazards specific to operation.
3. Utilize appropriate safety and environmental procedures for people, processes, materials, products, and equipment to ensure a safe working environment for the whole team. Full knowledge of hazards in the workplace.
4. Reduce costs due to waste and minimize impact to health, safety, and the environment through working to eliminate waste and through the correct management of waste and hazardous materials.
5. To manage employee relations to ensure high engagement levels in unit.
6. Promote the development of a highly effective team through the establishment of a positive team climate supported by authentic leadership and clear communication.
7. Facilitate technical improvements using WCM improvement tools. Able to coach Technical Operators and semi-autonomous teams to build team performance.
8. Make governance decisions for the semi-autonomous team and adjudicates on unresolved team issues. Sets the strategy for Continuous Improvement and Preventative Maintenance in his area guided by loss trends and direction provided by the Supply Chain Lead
9. Apply rigorous Cost Deployment and the Zero loss concept to eliminate losses. High skill level in Continuous Improvement that is aligned closely with World Class Manufacturing and LEAN methodologies.
10. Has the ability to identify, prioritize and address problems using appropriate tools and techniques that eliminate recurrence.
11. Apply core knowledge of Quality skills; Quality Measurement, Prioritization, Improvement, Assessment and Certification etc. to sustain Quality standards in the factory operation.
12. Able to coordinate business resources and apply risk management processes. Keen sense of prioritization and ability to influence change. Resolve conflicts where identified.
13. Timely and accurate administration for a cluster of teams; shift rosters, pay, performance, training, and safety. Liaise with Sourcing Unit leads to ensure policy compliance.
Required Experience
1. 5 to 8 years of experience in Factory Operations
2. Electrical & Electronics/ Mechanical/Industrial Production Engineering background is preferred
3. Experience and good understanding in SAP/S4HANA will get preference
4. Experience in working with Factory Team
5. Developing SOPs and driving Automation project
