Responsibilities:
• Greet customers warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Present menus and explain daily specials to customers.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders from customers and input them into the POS system.
• Relay orders to the kitchen staff and ensure prompt delivery of food and drinks to tables.
• Check on customers during their meals to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or requests.
• Anticipate customer needs and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience.
• Prepare and serve beverages, such as coffee, tea, and soft drinks, as well as alcoholic beverages where applicable.
• Clear tables and clean dining area between customers, ensuring tables are properly set for incoming guests.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently, including handling cash and processing credit card transactions.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Assist with cleaning duties, including sweeping mopping, and sanitizing work areas.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a waitress or in a similar customer service role preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order-taking and delivering orders.
• Knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift trays of food and beverages.
• Positive attitude and willingness to provide exceptional customer service.
• Must adhere to grooming and uniform standards.
• Must be of legal working age and possess any required certifications for food service in your region.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
