Overview / Responsibilities

Wood (trading locally as WOOD KSS LLP) is currently recruiting for a Principal Electrical Engineer with extensive experience in the oil and gas petrochemical industry.

Responsibilities:
Performs work in accordance with the project execution management plan Follows the instructions of the engineer responsible for the equipment for additional MPCs Develops high-quality documentation for construction and applications for electrical equipment Receives the necessary information from design engineers for interaction, control that the design is carried out in accordance with current requirements and in close cooperation with the rest of the project Maintains an accounting and storage system to track current project documentation Performs work in accordance with the quality plan for the project Draws up applications for materials, PDPP, bill of materials, if necessary Performs electrical calculations of loads, voltage drop, voltage return, etc., if necessary Evaluates the technical part of bids, if necessary, using templates for project documentation Checks the documentation of suppliers, if necessary Participates in inspections of suppliers' equipment and factory acceptance tests, if necessary Provides technical assistance to engineers and university graduates in the design and implementation of calculations Participates in supplier assessment meetings, kick-off meetings, progress meetings Participates in liaison meetings Without being released from his/her main job shall perform the duties of (replace) temporary absent line managers and employees of the same function/department

Skills / Qualifications

Diploma in Engineering or equivalent

Prior experience in Pre-FEED/FEED would be advantageous

Fully conversant with local regulatory environment and international and national industry standards and specifications
Minimum 7 years within an engineering industry
