Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Web Developer specialized in Laravel to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, passionate, and experienced professional who will lead the development and management of our web-based projects. The individual will be responsible for the architectural design of web applications, coding, and enhancing existing applications. Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Laravel PHP code.
• Lead the development and maintenance of the back-end for our web-based applications.
• Develop APIs and backend services, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend.
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
• Collaborate with the team of developers and designers to design and launch new features.
• Implement data storage solutions and work with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Maintain code integrity, organization, versioning, and apply best practices.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications stay current.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a Senior Web Developer, with a focus on Laravel PHP Framework.
• Strong knowledge of PHP and Laravel framework, along with its libraries and architecture.
• Experience with SQL database systems like MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant front-end technologies.
• Understanding of MVC design patterns and object-oriented PHP programming.
• Proficiency with code versioning tools such as Git.
• Knowledge of API integration, web services, and RESTful APIs.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work in a team, and excellent attention to detail.
Desired Skills
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud services.
• Understanding of the Agile/Scrum development process.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks like Vue.js or React.js would be a plus.
• Knowledge of Docker or other containerization technologies.
• Prior experience with TDD or BDD is beneficial.
