Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to join our chemical manufacturing company. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our production operations to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality output. Your expertise in managing manufacturing processes, optimizing resources, and leading a team will be essential in meeting production goals and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities:
• Manage Production Operations: Direct and coordinate day-to-day production activities, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Optimize Production Processes: Continuously evaluate and improve manufacturing processes, identifying areas for enhancement in efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
• Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to production staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, and promoting a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Performance Management: Set performance goals and objectives for production teams, monitor progress, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare production reports, analyze data, and present performance metrics to senior management, highlighting areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
The Successful Applicant
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Production Manager in the chemical industry or a related manufacturing field.
• In-depth knowledge of chemical manufacturing processes, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire employees towards achieving production goals.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
• Proficiency in using production management software and tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building effective relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
