What You'll Do
Summary:
Responsible for routine clerical duties related to medical record management of physician and patient documentation to meet compliance guidelines
Responsibilities:
• Timely management of assigned reports and work queues related to physician orders, face to face documentation, summaries for patients or physicians.
• Promptly manages sending and receiving orders, POC, and other documentation
• Accurately reviews and processes face to face documentation to assure that documentation is present in the medical record that meets regulatory requirements.
• Responsible for outgoing faxes and the routing of incoming faxes for physician orders.
• Works cooperatively with Account Executives and Performance Improvement staff to obtain orders and clinical documentation related to face to face encounters.
• Answers and routes phone calls appropriately.
• Scans/files all medical documentation in the medical record accurately and timely.
• Maintains all medical records secure and confidential.

• General Education Degree
Other information:
Experience: EPIC HIM, or home health preferred.
Demonstrates standards of performance (ownership, teamwork, communication, compassion) that support patient satisfaction and principles of service excellence.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Individual will possess commensurate combination of education, experience and qualifications.
