Opportunity:
The Pricing & Procurement Analyst is an integral part of the BVI team, responsible for supporting the Moorings Market and wider Caribbean finance team by providing informative analysis on instore and online sales volumes, pricing and margins, stock levels and reorder quantities, and deputising for the Procurement Business Partner as the need arises.
What you will be doing:
• Provide analysis on sales volumes, pricing and margins for in-store sales at the Moorings Market and through our online provisioning stores across the Caribbean, identifying trends, issues and opportunities
• Work with the Finance, Procurement and Provisioning teams to establish category and channel pricing strategies
• Work with the Provisioning & Beverage Manager to update pricing across our in-store and online outlets, and ensure the integrity of cost and price information in our inventory and sales systems
• Superuser for inventory and sales systems (Veeqo & Shopify)
• Conduct competitor benchmarking to validate our pricing strategies
• Establish processes to supervise stock levels and re-order quantities
• Support the Procurement Business Partner with provisions purchases, raising purchase orders, supervising delivery and ensuring invoices are submitted for payment in a timely manner
• Ad hoc tasks as required within the Finance & Procurement teams

What we are looking for:
• Strong analytical skills, ability to draw insight from sophisticated data
• Sophisticated Excel skills
• High attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work independently & show initiative
• Commercial acumen
• Experience in a similar role in a retail environment preferable
