The Antilles School Middle and Upper School science department is seeking a visionary science teacher and STEM coordinator committed to creative content delivery, including hands-on activities and experiences, and an enthusiastic willingness to collaborate with colleagues. The STEM coordinator will work on science and technology programming and curriculum in 5th-8th grade. Coordinator responsibilities include:
• Building a STEM curriculum for grades 5-8 and supporting teachers in implementing that curriculum.
• Building experiential learning experiences into the 6-8th grade science program.
• Overseeing lab and STEM equipment management.
The current position also includes teaching 7th-grade Life Science and STEM and working directly with 6th-grade teachers in the STEM class.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher, required
• Demonstrated command of knowledge applicable to the position
