Account assistant provides administrative support to JPN Finance, undertaking clerical tasks such as running reports, filing, basic bookkeeping, handling mails and coordinate corporate secretary documents (printing, collecting signatures, scanning and arrange to courier the documents out), manage tax reporting, working directly for the Japan finance controller, account assistant helps to maintain the office and keep it running smoothly.
Account assistant also deals with internal employees, customers and external agencies.
Other duties and responsibilities of the job include:
Corporate Secretary Support: Printing of documents, collecting signatures, scanning, and arrange to notarize, legalize or apostille courier out the documents
Working with spreadsheets and journals.
Invoice scanning, uploading to share folders, providing coding and communicating with Genpact to complete postings properly into SAP
Filing of documents
Creating Payment billing form, monitoring A/R & A/P postings working with Genpact
Run standard SAP report for Management reporting
Run and prepare standard financial reports for JPN Finance controller
Application of Country of Residency (COR) for customers
Vendor Master creation
Monitoring and confirming Online Banking payment and collection transactions working with Genpact
Monitoring and confirming Intercompany reconciliation, Employee expense reimbursement transactions
Preparing Payment working papers to submit Bank of Japan
Preparing Tax payment form through Bank
Help out in the IFR 15 implementation and reporting
Fixed Assets counts

Requirements:
A diploma in business or accounting qualification preferred
3 years of finance experience preferred
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Well-organized and detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to deliver to tight deadlines
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and preferably SAP
Experience in working in a global environment
Ability to deal with multiple stakeholders across many cultures and languages
