About Our Client
Our client is a Belgian company active worldwide in the construction sector.
In order to support their growth, we are currently looking for a Project Controller.
Their headquarters are located in Brussels, and the projects are located all over Brussels & Flanders.
Job Description
Project Controller - Construction sector - Brussels & Flanders
As a Project Controller, you are part of the controlling team and are responsible for the financial monitoring of several projects.
Your main tasks consist in :
• Working on several construction projects (5 to 10);
• Structuring the project from a financial point of view;
• Doing the daily financial controlling of the project during its life-time :
• Budget management
• Follow-up of the project & recommendations
• Variances analyzes
• Provisions
• Acting as a Business Partner for the Project Managers;
• Visiting the projects on a weekly basis (in Brussels & Flanders);
• Being in charge of the reporting to the management.
The Successful Applicant
Project Controller - Construction sector - Brussels & Flanders
The ideal project controller will meet the following criteria :
• Master's degree in Finance / Business / Economics;
• At least 2 years of Financial experience (Audit or Controlling);
• An interest for the construction sector is a must. Experience in this field is an asset;
• Fluency in Dutch & English. French is a plus;
• Excellent Excel skills;
• Motivation & flexibility;
• Partnering mentality with the ability to challenge and being challenged.
