IT Solutions Architect, R&D IT Solutions, Global IT
Do you want to work in the interface between R&D and IT in a highly complex pharma context? We are looking for an IT Solutions Architect who can consult the business on IT solutions, and ensure coherence between applications and systems across R&D.
Your new role
As IT Solutions Architect, you will join a team of IT professionals that deliver business value by sourcing, implementing, and managing IT solutions to continuously improve R&D deliveries. The team consists of experienced Project Managers and Solutions Architects who provide an end-to-end perspective on R&D IT solutions. You will have a key role in creating and maintaining architecture for the R&D application and system portfolio. Your daily work will consist of a mix of smaller tasks to large implementation projects alongside with work related to improving our approach to IT architecture in Lundbeck:
• Contribute to shaping the long-term strategic direction related to the R&D IT landscape
• Transform business needs into requirements for IT solutions
• Have an active role in R&D IT pre-projects (RFI & RFP) as well as execution projects
• Participate in solution assessments and technology - and vendor selections
• Be the link between LoB stakeholders, vendors and Global IT
• Work with system/application upgrades, lab equipment integrations as well as large implementation projects in both GxP and non-GxP settings
• Ensure a sufficient level of IT documentation
• Coordinate support for incidents related to the applications and systems within the R&D IT portfolio

As Solutions Architect in R&D IT Solutions, you will become part of Business IT Delivery within Global IT. Business IT Delivery is our Pharma IT Powerhouse consisting of solutions architects and project managers, partnering closely with key business areas; R&D, Production and Supporting Functions.
We are fans of sharing knowledge and of helping each other across departments in Global IT. That’s why we among other initiatives have established a Solution Architect Forum where we present and review solution designs, share knowledge, tips & tricks and much more.

What You Preferably Bring To The Team
• Experience working with IT solutions that supports R&D functions, preferably within a GxP environment
• Experience with Lab IT
• Application Solution Design experience
• An ability to take lead in architecture and solution design in a multi-vendors environment
• A structured and forward-looking mindset and ability to determine emerging business needs and propose appropriate responses
• You are a good communicator
• A curious and innovative mindset as well as good analytical skills
• Possible experience from the business side of IT in a larger pharma organization
