Foaling manager and assistant positions at one of the UK’s leading sport horse stud farms providing AI, embryo transfer and foalings. We average 100 foalings per season.
We are looking for a hardworking and motivational person to assist the foaling centre. Candidates must have previous foaling experience, be organised, tidy and work well under pressure.
It is essential to be calm and confident around foals and able to cope with any situation that arises.
You will be required to carry out all yard duties supporting the Stud Manager and her team. The foaling unit has twelve boxes with CCTV, foaling alert system and the support of the stud’s on site resident vets.
The ideal candidate will already be experienced in stud work as well as foaling. Training and support will be given.
The position is full time or seasonal with immediate start available and comes with shared accommodation adjacent to the foaling unit. Sorry no horse/pets.
