Iblea Ship Management Ltd manages a fleet of bulk carriers engaged on both voyage as well as time charter. We operate, maintain and crew, a diversified fleet of Kamsarmax, Newcastlesmax, Post-Panamax, Mini Capesize, Ultramax and Capesize vessels, in a safe, efficient and profitable manner aiming to ensure consistently in high industry standards.

The Company is incorporated in Malta with the main office located in Athens, Greece.

Our Operations Team is expanding!

Iblea Ship Management invites high caliber professionals to apply for the position of Post-Fixing Officer. The main scope of the role is to process physical data from execution of contracts to produce real-time economic data, reporting to the Ops Supervisor and the General Manager.

What we need:

• Communications between owners and charterers, with regards to Vessel(s) hire(s) payments and outstanding(s).

• Calculation and submission of laytime statements for voyage Charter Parties.

• Calculation and submission of TC-in and TC-out hires for Time Charter Parties.

• Checking/processing disbursement accounts and follow-up of balance accounts with port agents.

• Updating economic forecasts for ship operations and hire receipts.

• Recovery of expenses incurred by third parties, i.e holds cleaning./c.e.v , etc.

• Control of intermediate and final freight / hire payments and receipts.

• Preparing various weekly and monthly outstanding balance reports.

• Monitoring and follow up post-fixture balances with Owners/Charterers.

• Follow-up of voyage and time charter balance accounts.

• Settle expenses on behalf of owners.

• Following up payments and settlement of inter-company T/C contracts.

• Processing invoices and payments to suppliers (eg bunkers, weather routing, etc.)

• Creating computer files for each new fixture and up-dating regularly.

Skills/ Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of solid experience in a similar position, with proven experience

• Fluency in English

• Adequate PC Knowledge

• Analytical and problem-solving skills

• Organization and negotiation skills
