Our team is looking for the Mobile App Analyst to join one of the well-established banks in Central Asia.
We are in search of a QA automation engineer to improve the quality of company`s product to the level our clients deserve. The QA stack is new, made using NodeJS, WebDriverIO, Selenium for compatibility with older browsers, iOS and Android mobile devices, BitBucket, and Jenkins.
The apps consist of several artifacts: mobile apps, traditional web apps, marketing websites, and a telegram bot. The add-ons, in particular, are inside the company`s own products, which creates interesting quality assurance challenges in a secure way. They are built with Java, Javascript, NodeJS, Quarkus, SQL, Firebase, and Oracle.
Responsibilities:
• Gradually implement our quality assurance strategy and implementation
• Improvement of test automation frameworks for UI / API testing
• Develop test plans and test cases for new and existing features
• Plan and coordinate testing activities for releases
• Incorporate tests into the software development process (Jira, build, release)
• Help run manual tests from time to time (we already have one manual tester)
• Try to break our product in every way possible, so that we make it bulletproof
• Identify, report, and track product defects
• Assist in root cause analysis
• 3 x years experience as a QA engineer, preferably with a large number of users
• QA frameworks: in-depth knowledge of at least two testing frameworks such as WebDriverIO, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium.
• Programming knowledge: experience with NodeJS, Python, JavaScript, build tools, CI / CD pipelines
• Project tracking tools: Jira, Spreadsheet and other typical software development tools
