What will I be doing?

As the TAM Global Sales Manager – Worldwide Accounts, you will build positive partnerships with TAM your (Total Account Management) account roster within Mexico Region. You will be committed to improving revenue and growing Hilton’s market share. You will also supervise the facilitation of the annual RFP process for your assigned accounts. You will educate both hotels and brand representatives on the assigned account roster in order to help cultivate customer business. You will also be responsible for managing and growing the group business from your accounts. Consistently striving to improve revenue, through building strong business relationships and using effective negotiation and sales techniques.

You will be the main contact for the assigned account roster, keeping both hotels and brand representatives informed about assigned accounts, and will be responsible for maintaining relationships of assigned accounts with the goal to improve revenue and increase market share into Hilton hotels worldwide.

More specifically, you will:
• Collaborate with Hilton Worldwide Sales Specialists and other valuable partners to provide total client solutions
• Present sales pitches to clients with complex needs across multiple areas of the business; providing an overall solutions approach
• Consistently build client accounts by using the organization's sales techniques and strengthening existing client relations.
• Apply sales growth techniques to drive revenue and improve client total brand usage
• Address objections by using a repositioning sales strategy or by successfully negotiating
• Incorporate a personalized approach to the organization's existing client acquisition sales techniques to improve selling performance
• Demonstrate proven understanding of sales principles and protocols to increase revenue per client, and ensure revenue targets are achieved
• Apply the best methodology in day-to-day client data management and maintaining clients' privacy, using the organization's CRM program
• Communicate hotel promotions with a high degree of ease to support client needs
• Analyze industry trends and competitors' strengths and weaknesses, and incorporating industry and client analyses to forecast future client needs
• Prospect and Develop New TAM Accounts for the CALA region.
• Pull weekly and quarterly reporting as needed for the position and as indicated by your leader.
• Be responsible for complete qualification of each account to resolve at a minimum: Yearly BTS spend potential for Hilton; Number of group events
• Establishes and maintains strong relationships with accounts.
• Lead and analyze data to drive BT and groups sales activities towards success.
• Be responsible for overall account planning strategy to facilitate growth.
• Develop and implement a focused sales solicitation plan for all Diamond, Gold, Silver and Blue accounts, as well growing relationship with these accounts.
• Develop relationship with costumers and hotels in the secondary markets of the country.
• Assists internal team during organization of HWS events with suppliers, hotels, special events, agenda and overall organization.
• Maintains GSE / Sales Force records, including call reports, meeting profiles, history, and traces.
• Support the Managing Director of Sales - Caribbean & Latin America for ad-hoc projects.
• Ensure quarterly and annual revenue and ancillary goals/targets are achieved.
• Build positive internal and external relationships to influence people.
• Set standards for leadership by example, including resourcefulness to effect change, resolve issues and ensure partnership within appropriate levels of enterprise. Overall, you will maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity.
• Evaluate and look for opportunities from a strategic perspective, to prioritize and implement plans to help meet the organization’s core strategic goals.
• Adhere to Hilton Worldwide Sales policies and procedures, standard practice instructions, anti-trust guidelines and code of ethics at all times.

What are we looking for?

The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:
• Spanish and English (verbal and written)
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills (verbal, written)
• Strong team problem-solving skills
• Critical thinking and both quantitative and qualitative analytics skills with the ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths/weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
• Strong negotiation skills in order to increase value for internal and external partners
• Complete discretion and confidentiality regarding critical information
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, MS Word, Excel

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:
• Five (5) years of professional experience
• Three (3) years of experience as a hotel or above property Sales Manager handling the Business Travel Sales market and atleast one (1) year of experience handling the group market segment.
• In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry
• Travel up to 30%

• Multi-property sales experience
• Experience in OnQ SM
• Experience using MicroStrategy
• Experience using SFDC
