Division Overview

Hubbell Power Systems (HPS) engages in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of products used by utilities. Today, HPS is deeply engaged in product solutions for OSP Communication utility purposes, and has been actively growing that segment of the business. HPS roots have historically been in high voltage transmission, distribution, substation, underground products used by electric utilities. HPS products are also used in the civil construction, transportation, gas and water industries.

Position Overview

The Payroll Systems Administrator is centrally responsible for all facilitating decisions and actions regarding GTI Revolution configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and ongoing support, interface file management; granting and monitors access to payroll systems; and troubleshoots any payroll system issues. The Payroll Systems Admin supports the Global Payroll Operations Manager for all GTI Revolution payroll projects requiring integration, interfaces or technical support; and prepares process documentation, recommending best practices, and process improvements, always ensuring delivery of accurate and timely employee payrolls

Duties and Responsibilities
• Subject Matter Expert and able to manage all modules within the GTI/Hubbell Revolution payroll applications; including coordination for configuration; enhancements upgrade and updates; reporting; auditing and ensuring overall compliance and controls.
• GTI Revolution, Workflow and +Orden System Administrator -- the primary and centralized point of contact for all Mexico payroll systems support, access requests; reporting and data needs; management, audit and controls of system users.
• Recommend assignment of roles requests for individuals, necessary to complete their business duties.
• Centralized Reporting Process / Approval and Management of Report Catalog; avoiding duplication; and providing and training in the best practice and use of existing, delivered reports.
• Partner with GTI for system issues, enhancements, updates, and upgrades
• Workflow Administrator providing management and oversight of workflows in progress.
• Recommend improvements to ensure systems, processes, procedures remain consistent, harmonized, and in compliance with country rules/regulations, and company policies
• Monitor SLAs and metrics to monitor efficiency and effectiveness of payroll systems and team performance.
• Comply with all audit requirements and internal control standards for supporting configuration maintenance, changes, and accurate documentation.
• Ensure Confidentiality, Data Privacy, Data Security and SOX requirements are in place.
• Provide excellent customer service and support to all Functional Leads, External Vendors and Customers.
• Responsible for preparing, maintaining procedures and documentation for Payroll Operations. Research and implementing changes to policies and procedures to improve the quality and effectiveness of payroll services.
• Support internal audit and audit requests, as necessary.
• Serve as a reliable and collaborative team member, partnering with other payroll associates and functional business partners to achieve desired results.
• Oversee the configuration and operation of system security. Determine any additional role-based security needs and ensure configuration is developed, completed, tested, and properly documented. Approve assignment of roles to individuals necessary to complete their business duties.
• Serve as the primary liaison between payroll and internal stakeholders as well as vendors for system and interface matters.
• Ensure support for interfaces either directly or through the Managed Services provider, including troubleshooting, correction, and maintenance of all integrations. Work with internal partners and stakeholders on any integration fixes, new requirements, or new integrations.
• Evaluate and recommend opportunities for requirements harmonization that would result in efficiencies, increased system stability, and easier maintenance of payroll and time systems.
• Partner with all third-party vendors for systems interfaces, including Hubbell Incorporated’s Managed Services Provider (ADP) to ensure payroll is accurate, complete, and timely. Monitor and ensure all Service Level Agreements are met. Escalate issues to US Payroll Manager as necessary.
• Coach, develop, and mentor team members to build and continuously improve capacity and capability of the organization.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a set of metrics to monitor efficiency and effectiveness of payroll systems performance.
• Partnering for timely and accurate integration of Payroll for all newly acquired businesses.
• Conduct process improvement activities to increase accuracy, improve efficiency, and ensure appropriate controls remain in place on all payroll systems.

Skills and Experience
• Más de 3 años de experiencia práctica en procesamiento y soporte de aplicaciones de Revolution/Tress, incluida la configuración, migración, administración de interfaz, Reportes, auditoría y procesamientos de MX nómina.

Education

Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting
