Job Summary
The Sales Executive – Hardware and Distribution, will be responsible for leading sales in this division by servicing our current hardware customers and establishing new ones while meeting and exceeding sales target. This position will also be required to
Job Duties
• Achieve monthly sales quota for Hardware and Distributor sector
• Organize and prepare quotations, invoices and processing of work orders for customers ensuring that all activities are billed accordingly and no activity is left unbilled
• Prospecting – Daily prospecting of new potential hardware and distribution clients throughout the country
• Portfolio Management – Maintain a list of customers and provide monthly reports on sales activities of each client to the Sales Manager
• Receivables – ensure all payments are collected on a timely manner and manage credit customers AR
• Update customers on orders placed by liaising with the necessary personnel/department such as production, transport and in house staff.
• Marketing info – Provide marketing department information from clients such as competitor pricing, material preferences and potential for new products
• Assist in all promotional activities that the organization is involved in; these may be mall displays, trade shows, partnership programs etc.
• Provide after sales services, such as addressing customer complaints and concerns about products and services purchased like warranty information, products and mill certificates handling, refund processing etc.
Job Requirments
• 5 CXC Subjects Including Maths and English
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing will be considered an asset
• At least 3 years’ experience in sales ( roofing, hardware and construction products will be considered an assets.)
• Valid driver’s permit

Remuneration;-
• Basic Salary $5 - $6K based on experience
• Commission – 1% on sales once quota is met
