• Kamoa strategic imperatives

• Mineral processing principles
• Program and project management
• In-depth understanding of smelter Technique and operations
• Health and Safety management in Smelter
and your skills should include:
• Advanced Computer literacy for role - MS Office Software
• Laboratory and Quality Assurance skills (understanding mineral processing and metallurgical test results)
• Intimate knowledge of all related sub-disciplines within technical services
• Green production methods and skills
• Proven experience in building and commissioning a Smelter;
• Project management experience
It will be advantageous if you are
• Fluent in Mandarin (preferred)
• Fluent in English,French and Swahili

You will be required to:
Define, design, manage and coordinate a world class Smelter Technical Services function by:
• Monitoring and implementing Smelter Design, Construction and Commissioning
• Drivng, implementing, and continuously improve upon efficient, cost effective and safe Technical Services operations in the Smelter
• Managing and overseeing Contractors and service providers
• Driving effective problem solving and continuous improvement
• Function as a Smelter Technical Services subject matter expert
Ensure optimised customer experience and service throughout the value chai by:
• Managing relationships with stakeholders to enable optimisation of the business value chain
Build and maintain a capable, high performing team by:
• Managing a division that builds people, values difference and creates an inclusive work environment
Ensure financial integrity of area of responsibility by:
• Forecasting, securing and managing the budget as per Delegation of Authority Matrix
Managing Transformation and enable seamless Change and Cultural integration by:
• Managing transformation in terms of people, automation / digitisation and sustainability and provide timely and robust change management to underpin initiatives
Implementing the HSEQ plan for the Business area by:
• Implementing a work ethos that is committed to safeguarding employee safety, health and wellbeing
Managing Reporting and Governance and Quality assurance for area of responsibility by:
• Establishing reporting best practice for area of responsibility and
• Deploying an integrated risk management, quality assurance, governance and compliance framework throughout area of responsibility
