You will have a:
• Intermediate Life Support Qualification
• Drivers Licence with authority to transport people and dangerous goods
• Preferably you will have Firefighter 1 & 2 and various modules including Hazard Awareness and Hazard Operational

Required Registration
• Health Professions Council of South Africa as an Intermediate Life Support Practitioner

You will need advanced knowledge of ...
• Mine Rescue Services Training
• Advanced Driving Skills
• Rescue and Firefighting Skills

You will have advanced skills in:
• Heavy Duty Drivers Licence
• Knowledge of medical procedures, terminology and medications
• Excellent working knowledge of medical equipment and devices

You have to be:
• Fluent in two of the following is preferred: English, French,
• Swahili and Mandarin will be advantageous

Your KPA’s will in include:

Provide a range of healthcare support and emergency services to the Kamoa mine and community by:
• Providing timely, high quality Patient Care and Handling
• Providing timely, high quality Firefighting services
• Providing timely, high quality Rescue services
• Ensuring Operational Readiness
• Performing Daily Equipment checks

Stakeholder Management by:
• Building working relationships across teams and functional lines to enhance work delivery, collaboration and innovation

People by:
• Contributing to building a high-performing team

Reducing costs and waste by:
• Forecasting, securing and managing the Smelter Training budget

Transformation by:
• Supporting the Transformation agenda

Implementing the HSEQ plan for the Business area by:
• Integrating HSEQ into all work processes

Reporting and Governance and Quality by:
• Adhering to and improving reporting processes for the area of responsibility
