Job Title: Electronic Surveillance Security Team (ESST)
Location: Djibouti, Africa
Clearance: TS/SCI .
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Knowledgeable of all procedures for controlling, issuing, maintaining, and programming access control cards within the ESS system.
• Monitors the installation and maintenance of the IDS to ensure it is installed, maintained, supervised, and operates in accordance with the current version of DoD Manual 5240.01.
• Ensures all sensors are tested periodically and account data is accurate, as well as serving as first line ESS systems administrator and maintenance manager and responsible for ensuring compliance of the ESS system by the contractor.
Requirements:
• Knowledge of state-of-the-art intrusion detection systems (IDS), especially LAN operations and equipment, computer assisted design software to operate and maintain the IDS.
• Full understanding of the function and responsibilities of various installation access points.
• The member must have a current TS-SCI clearance and have between 1 to 3 years’ experience in similar roles as determined by type of work and level of responsibility as described in section 3.3 above.
• Similar roles may be in industry or working for the U.S. Government, but must include electronic surveillance and access control experience.
• The requirement of 1 to 3 years of experience can be substituted by at least 2 years of former military service and a bachelor’s degree.
