Job Summary:
Hotline Engineering Services PLC, an ELV consulting and contracting company (ELV 3C) that specializes in delivering innovative solutions for various ELV systems, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design Engineer to join our remote team. The candidate will be responsible for designing Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems for commercial and industrial projects remotely, using AutoCAD, Revit Electrical, and other software to produce design drawings and documentation. They will work collaboratively with other engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery, and provide technical guidance and support to team members. The candidate must have excellent communication and teamwork skills, be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and remotely.
Responsibilities:
• Design ELV systems for commercial and industrial projects remotely, using AutoCAD, Revit Electrical, and other software to produce design drawings and documentation
• Work collaboratively with other engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery
• Conduct research on new technology, standards, and best practices in ELV systems design
• Review and approve design drawings and documents produced by other team members
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members
• Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and clients through email, video conferencing, and other remote communication tools
• Ensure project deadlines are met and work is delivered within budget constraints
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Strong knowledge of ELV systems design and installation
• Proficient in using AutoCAD, Revit Electrical, and Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience in project management is a plus
