Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the following positions tenable at Kasungu Inn, a hotel situated at Kasungu Boma:
HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR
The successful candidate will take full charge of the Housekeeping Department and ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the bedrooms, laundry and public areas. He or she will also ensure that there is at all
times proper maintenance of equipment and availability of supplies for maximum guest comfort. Applicants must have the following qualifications:
(a) A full MSCE and be fluent in spoken English.
(b) A certificate in institutional management or its equivalent, or a Certificate in Housekeeping Operations from the Malawi Institute of Tourism. In any case candidates must have at least 3 years hands-on experience at a supervisory level from a large institution.
(c) Have an eye for detail and also have the tact to advise other Heads of Department so far as hotel up-keep is concerned.
(d) Be at least 30 years of age.
