We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our global team. This role provides a challenging and interesting opportunity to work on innovative products, that serve both external and internal customers. We would love to speak with you if you have experience in and would love to work with tools such as Kubernetes, Terraform, TeamCity, Jenkins, Datadog, and databases such as Oracle, MongoDB, MySQL.
About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
• At least 3-4 years of professional software development experience and 2 years as DevOps Engineer or similar skillsets with experience on various CI/CD and configuration management tools e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity, Maven, Gradle, AzureDevOps, Gitlab, Ansible, Cloud Formation, Terraform, or similar CI/CD orchestrator tool(s).
• AWS experience managing resources in some of the AWS services including but not limited to: RDS, EC2, Containers, IAM, S3, Route53, VPC, EKS, SNS, SQS, Lambda.
• Experience developing Pipelines on a build server (Jenkins/TeamCity/etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proven ability on at least one programming language and to provide automation solutions using Bash Shell, PowerShell, Python and JSON.
• Experience with writing complex scripts/services that pull and manipulate data from heterogeneous data sources, REST APIs, databases, flat files, etc.
• Knowledge in operating system administration, programming languages, cloud platform deployment, and networking protocols
• Must have knowledge on full-stack monitoring capabilities, security testing, detection, and compliance tools.
• Excellent communication skills in a multicultural, global environment.
• Self-starter with ability to learn new technologies.
It would be great if you also had . . .
• Ability to support database servers like MS-SQL, DynamoDB, Oracle, MySQL, Postgres, etc.in cloud or on-prem.
• Datadog experience a plus.
• A Kubernetes or AWS Certification.
What will you be doing in this role?
• Drive the integration and delivery of technical solutions aligned with the product roadmaps, customer needs, and strategic priorities.
• Design, develop and implement the product infrastructure architecture, including microservices, both on-premise and cloud, leveraging Terraform automated scripts for build/deploy of Infrastructure-as-code.
• Drive the implementation of service improvements, automation, monitoring, and DevOps best practices throughout the product lifecycle.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support on rotational basis for all products for CompuMark LoB.
• Own the performance, availability, reliability, security, and scalability of the product(s) running across cloud and on-premise, global multi-region, infrastructure.
Product you will be developing
Focus of this role will be related to the various products of the CompuMark line of business. The key skills critical to this role include Jenkins, TeamCity, AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Ansible, and other AWS services.
About the Team
The current team of 7 members, including the manager, work closely with the development and QA teams, for the delivery of new features to existing systems, implementing operational efficiencies to the hosted infrastructure, and deployment of new systems.
Hours of Work
This is a full-time employee role, based in Barcelona, Spain. The working hours will be 9am – 5pm CEST, with some flexibility.
