Are you looking for a role within safeguarding? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust Safeguarding Team. We are looking to recruit to a number of Safeguarding Nurse Advisor posts, which will be based in the Multi-Agency Hub in either the Shropshire or Telford Local Authority. Posts available are 22.5 hours per week over 3 days per week (9 a.m. – 5 p.m.).
The post holder will work within the multi-agency integrated team, gathering, collating and sharing health information to assist the assessment of notifications and referrals relating to children aged 0-18 years, which are received by the Local Authority Safeguarding Team.
We are looking for enthusiastic, organised and forward thinking Registered Nurses. Community experience would be beneficial, but not essential. The successful candidates should be able to risk assess and make sound decisions and have an awareness of safeguarding concerns with either children or adults. They should also be able to work in complex and challenging environments and be able to manage their work without continual on-site line management.
