A high achieving 11-18 school is looking to recruit a Humanities Teacher on a temporary basis, to cover a paternity post. The successful applicant will be required to teach a range of age groups from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4 and must also have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
The ideal candidate will have the specialism of/experience in teaching Geography, History, Religious Studies or Humanities and have excellent subject knowledge. They will also have a variety of teaching and learning strategies that will motivate and inspire students to learn.
Key Tasks And Responsibilities
• To deliver pre-planned lessons to pupils in KS3 and KS4
• To be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Manage the behaviour of students
• Differentiate to meet the needs of learners
• Adhere to all agreed departmental and whole school policies
