This role will be a senior engineering role at one of our clients that are early stage all the way to IPO / Private companies.
What We're Looking For
The engineering team is at the founding stage and any hire will play a critical role in setting the culture and standards, in addition to influencing the technologies we use.
You will be responsible for building the foundation of the platform: microservices, cloud infrastructure, developer productivity tooling, external integrations, databases and event queues. You have used a React, React Native, or Node.
You will have ample opportunity to establish the direction of your projects and operate at a high level of independence, but always have the support of your peers and a quick learning loop.
You will collaborate closely with product owners and have a high influence over the shape of the product, weighing in on tradeoffs with technical concerns. You will experiment, manage risks and become an expert at creating more with less. You will have a chance to build empathy with our end users and influence their lives with your work.
Examples of a project you might work on include:
• Evaluating database alternatives
• Evaluating observability stack and methodology
• Integrating with an external wallet payment APIs
• Defining technical debt metrics and paydown strategy
• Developing tools for day to day support and operations of the platform
• Defining high availability strategy

Base Salary Range: $140,000 to $170,000
