Aspen Medical is seeking a qualified doctor specialized in one of the following categories: Aeromedical Evacuation, Anesthesiology, or Emergency Medicine to join our team for air and ground medical evacuation in support of one of our clients in Somalia.
• This is a 3 years contract position.
Requirements:
• Medical Degree with a minimum of 3 years continuous progressive clinical experience post qualification.
• Postgraduate training in Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine, or Aeromedicine with at least 3 years of experience.
• Training in Aviation Medicine
• License to practice
• Fluency in English
• Experience in providing treatment under night flying conditions and with medical equipment compatible with NVG (Night Vision Goggles)
• Certification in ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support) (or equivalent) and PHTLS (Prehospital Trauma Life Support)
We are also looking for a Certified PHTLS/ACLS Instructor.
Employment is contingent upon contract award.
