EVP NCE - SBU NCE Construction & Operations - NCE Construction Offshore
The Project Manager, in Construction Offshore, is responsible for overall leadership, management and commercial success of Vestas' offshore wind projects in Northern & Central Europe (NCE) region. The Project Manager will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget and scope whilst enhancing the required safety and quality standards. The Project Manager oversees all project execution and construction activities from the time the contract is secured to full operation of the project site and handover to service.
Responsibilities
• Manage and lead the project organization whilst engaging the team in continuous improvement
• Responsible for the day-to-day communication and alignment with the customer
• Implement and adhere to the Vestas management systems including the project management, HSE and quality standards
• Ensure effective project planning and control as well as perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Monitor project progress, budget and performance on a continuous basis
• Responsible for managing the work of sub-contractors, allocating and utilising resources in an efficient manner and maintaining a co-operative and effective team
• Report, communicate and escalate to Project Director or Steering Group as needed and ensure comprehensive project documentation is created and maintained
Qualifications
• Bachelor's or master's degree in civil, construction, mechanical, electrical, wind energy engineering or related field
• 5 or more years of relevant project management experience in construction or similar industry
• Experience in offshore wind project management is desirable
• PMP, IPMA or Prince2 certification or equivalent education/qualification
• Skilled familiarity with power generation language and key terminology
• Experience in working effectively with work groups across a global organization
• Solid English communications skills (verbal, active listening, written, meeting management, presentation)

Additional Information
Primary Location: DK, Aarhus or PL, Warsaw or PL, Szczecin.
Travel: As required (estimated up to 80 days travel annually)
