Technical sales Representative specializing in the sales and promotion of Construction related products / services to the retail Industry. Develop and execute strategies to identify and cultivate prospective customers. Generate leads and compile a database of contacts. Establish relationships with key decision-makers and other high-value prospects. In order to be able to make a compelling, targeted sales pitch, they educate themselves on the products by working closely with developers, marketing, and other internal teams.

Technical sales professionals typically have an academic qualification in a technical field and a proven background in sales to Builders Merchants / Small contracting companies / Hardware Stores. They should have solid sales skills and the ability to deliver a persuasive sales pitch. They must be well-informed, Target driven and have a sound knowledge about their company’s technology-based offerings.

To achieve and / or exceed individual Sales and Margin Targets through sound product knowledge and excellent Sales skills. To build and retain excellent customer relations with Builders Merchants/Hardware Stores / Retail etc.

• Promote, develop and increase sales of company's products and company's services
• Maintaining and increasing business relationships with existing customers.
• Plan and execute sales calls economically, logistically and with the most impact.
• Do this according to your designated customers and areas.
