Job Duties/Responsibilities:
• Prepare District Budgets for recurrent and development votes
• Create quarterly expenditure forecasts to discuss with the Treasury for funds release
• Propose funds for additional expenditure and reallocation of voted funds during the year
• Monitor expenditure and projects, including program implementation, and ensure timely disbursement of funds
Qualifications:
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the grade of Finance Officer I or a comparable and relevant position in the Public Service
• A certificate in Public Financial Management from a recognized institution lasting at least four (4) weeks
• Completion of a Senior Management course lasting at least four (4) weeks
• Demonstrated merit and ability in work performance and results
