Duties and Responsibilities:
• Execute key distribution, placement, pricing and promotion initiatives within assigned clients to achieve target sales revenue in a profitable manner.
• Follow all listings with clients to drive numeric distribution & sales by product category.
• Order taking from customers and follow up with invoicing & logistics teams for smooth operations. Discrepancy in codes and prices to be communicacted to Invoicing department
• Follow-up regularly stock on hand, orders, deliveries, returns and refunds of goods.
• Follow up switch of barcodes of actual and new items in portfolio and of any price changes.
• Plan and follow up merchandising work done by the merchandisers and ensure their route planning is being monitored as well as their daily job assignments.
• Inform customers of promotions, negotiate special promotions and secondary spaces to promote our products.
• Follow up on due payments by customers and ensure debt collection is done.
• Gathering market information by reporting on competitor products, activities and pricing in trade and communicate same to the Head of Department of Marketing team.
• Follow up Trade Activations at client’s place as per Guidelines set out by the brand category teams or supplier guidelines.
• Monitor trade/marketing visibility (Stands/TG, Podium) as per commercial agreement
• Negotiate with retailers to ensure maximum visibility for our brands on shelf- Need to ensure the Planograms are line with Shelf Brand Guidelines shared by Supplier and Marketing team.
• Implement action plans to achieve sales target for assigned customers & categories & review with Head of Department.
• Solving customer complaints, issues, and challenges where possible while making sure to respect the image of the company and abiding to our code of conduct & ethics.
