Post: Peace Building and Conflict Management Officer (Grade I)
Salary: Within the Grade I salary scale segment
Location: Ministry of National Unity
Qualifications
Applicants must be in possession of Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following fields: Political Science, Public Policy, Peach and Security Studies, Public Administration, Sociology, Psychology and Human Rights, obtained from accredited institutions.
Duties
• Implementing activities aimed at shared public interests and values;
• Assisting in mainstreaming peace building as a cross cutting theme across all National Unity programs and projects;
• Coordinating National Unity support programs and projects;
• Assisting in identifying new peace building as a cross cutting theme across all National Unity programs and Projects;
• Assisting in identifying new peace building program opportunities for vulnerable communities through effective partnership with stakeholders;
• Participating in monitoring of peace building and conflict management implementers;
• Receiving and analyzing data associated with peace building and conflict management program;
• Participating in preparation of annual budget estimates and work plans for the department of National Unity; and
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Note:
Documentary evidence of major requirements specified in the advertisement shall be required during interviews. Serving officers will also be required to demonstrate during the interviews that they are
permanent and pensionable officers in the Civil Service by producing letters of confirmation in appointment in addition to letters of condition of appointment on probation (PSR 19).
