The Reserve Bank of Malawi is inviting applications for the under listed positions tenable at its Head Office in Lilongwe, Blantyre and Mzuzu Branches.
TECHNICIAN, ELECTRICAL AND MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT (1 POSITION)
Reporting to the Supervisor, General Maintenance, the successful candidate will, among other duties, be responsible for:
The Job:
• * Carrying out maintenance of Bank equipment, Plant and Machinery;
• Installing new equipment and projects; and
• Carrying out preventive maintenance on Bank equipment, plant and machinery.
The Person:
The ideal candidate should satisfy the following:
• * Must possess an Advanced Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or City and Guilds Advanced Diploma in Electronics;
• Must be aged between 25 and 40 years;
• Must be conversant with Microsoft Office.
Must have
• * Minimum three years’ work experience in troubleshooting and repair environment of electronic equipment: Computers and peripherals, electronic equipment, switch mode power supply and other
conventional power supplies;
• The ability to interpret diagnostics error codes and provide solutions to in a shortest time possible; and
• The ability to properly plan work by analysing available data e.g. circuit diagrams, manuals and provide a solution and also the desire to explore technological advancements.
