Country Plant IT Manager – Responsibilities: •Supervises the daily activities of IT support such as PC Support, Local Infrastructure Support & Industry 4.0
•Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion, coordinates work activities with other supervisors
•Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance and oversight from manager
•Impacts the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team and its contribution to the discipline
•Guided by policies, resource requirements and budgets
•Identifies and resolves day-to-day technical and operational problems
•Has formal supervisory responsibilities; sets priorities for and coaches employees to meet daily deadlines
•Applies understanding of how the team relates to other closely related teams to improve efficiency of own team
•Has an understanding and application of procedures and concepts within own discipline and basic knowledge of other disciplines
•Develop and continually evolve the Manufacturing Plant IT strategy, based on knowledge of company objectives and other factors by managing the activities of an operations department. Ensure maximum customer satisfaction for both internal and external customers
•Assist analyst in providing first line support when workloads are high or where additional experience is required.
•Participate and/or Lead Manufacturing Digitalization Projects
•Motivating the Team to perform to their best. Designing and implanting training plans both using external training and cross-skilling initiatives
•Work with the relevant stakeholders and the team members to carefully plan, design and deploy with continual improvements to service quality, productivity, and processes
•Ensure a high level of customer focus (internally and externally) with due care and attention to customer priority issues and appropriate levels of customer communications and ensure a high level of technical knowledge within Team members as evidenced through turnaround time of issues and ability of team members independently. This includes regular audits of communications are preformed and that appropriate training is provided to team members in this area, and also includes developing and maintaining customer satisfaction measurement metrics, status reporting and other contractually defined deliverables
•Proactively recommending courses of action to maintain cost-effectiveness and competitiveness. Responsible for execution of planned budget(s) provided by supervisor to achieve assigned margin for projects assigned
•Onsite Customer interacting to develop new business opportunities and assist as assigned in new contract creation and modifications
Ensure that the security of all services are maintained at the highest possible level by performing regular security audits. This is not only software-hardware security also data – trade secret-customer information Education and Qualifications:
•4 Year College or University Degree or equivalent.
•Prior leadership experience preferred
•Uses tact and diplomacy to exchange information and handle sensitive issues
•ITIL background
•Experience in international manufacturing business environment. Do not wait for something to break; find a problem before it becomes one and constantly aiming to improve
•Having a willingness to vocalize ideas and pick yourself up if you get knocked down
•Strong written and verbal communication skills in English is a must.
•Ability to make challenging decisions in a timely fashion across highly complex and multidimensional opportunities
•Proven influencing and persuasion skills
•Willingness and ability to travel, as necessary Work Environment/Work Conditions:

•Equipment used requires proper training on the potential for and avoidance of injury
