About Our Client

Our client stands as a distinguished multinational mining company, renowned for its significant presence and remarkable contributions in the mining industry.

Job Description
• Facilities Management: You will be responsible for the overall management of facilities, including office buildings, production sites, warehouses, and other operational facilities. This involves overseeing maintenance, repairs, renovations, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Infrastructure Development: You will collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement infrastructure projects, such as construction or expansion of facilities, ensuring they meet the organization's requirements and standards.
• General Services: You will oversee various general services, including janitorial services, landscaping, waste management, security, cafeteria, transportation, and other support services necessary for smooth operations.
• Budget and Resource Management: You will develop and manage budgets for facilities and general services, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control. You will also negotiate contracts with service providers and suppliers to obtain the best value for the organization.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies related to facilities and general services. Implement safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for employees and visitors.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as operations teams, human resources, finance, and legal departments, to understand their facility and service needs and provide appropriate solutions and support.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers, ensuring their performance meets the organization's expectations and standards.
• Sustainability Initiatives: Identify and implement sustainable practices and initiatives within the facilities and general services to reduce environmental impact and promote corporate social responsibility.
• Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of professionals responsible for various aspects of facilities management and general services. Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure a high level of performance and employee satisfaction.

The Successful Applicant
• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any other engineering-related field is required.
• 10 years of extensive experience in facilities management, infrastructure development, or related roles, preferably in a large-scale industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of facilities management principles, building systems, construction, and infrastructure development.
• Excellent leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion.
• Proven experience in budget management, resource allocation, and vendor contract negotiations.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental sustainability practices.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to effectively work with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
• Proficiency in relevant software and systems used in facilities management and general services.
