o Acts as liaison between the college and the hospital / health care facilities authorities. o Liaises with the Clinical Posting Unit (CPU) Executive, Programme Coordinator (Nursing) and Head of Programme (Nursing) for all matters pertaining to clinical posting. o Liaises with the CPU Executive for students' transportation and hostel arrangement (for areas outside of Kota Kinabalu, Sabah). o Plans and prepares clinical posting roster according to the semester clinical posting objectives. o Orientates students to the clinical area on their first day of clinical posting for every semester. o Organizes, carries out and records teaching session in the clinical areas: i) Incidental teaching ii) Case presentation iii) Bed-side teaching iv) Group discussion v) Health education sessions o Demonstrates and teaches students in carrying out procedures that are not within their level of training, but of which will be beneficial to the students. o Supervises and assesses students in carrying out procedures in the clinical areas. o Signs log books for students who are deemed competent in carrying out procedures at the students' expected standards. o Conducts Running Assessment (30%) and Evaluation of Students (10%) before the end of clinical posting. o Monitors students' attendance and maintains record of absenteeism throughout clinical posting. o Summarizes the students' attendance at the end of clinical posting period. o Compiles and submits all reports and clinical posting forms/documents to the CPU Executive (or to the Programme Coordinator Nursing) / Head of Programme (Nursing), in the absence of CPU Exec.) o Attends to students' welfare and safety in the clinical areas. *Applicant must be willing to be posted outside Kota Kinabalu (Hospitals)
Cyberjaya College Kota Kinabalu has been established since 2008 and is an affiliate of the University of Cyberjaya. The College specialises in health science programmes such as Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Healthcare and Psychology. The college also has programmes focused in Business Studies as well as Foundation studies This college has become one of the largest private college institutions in Plaza Juta, Likas. Its main building was officiated by Sabah Chief Minister Tan Sri Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Musa bin Haji Aman on 2nd February 2010.
