Financial and Reporting Analyst – Chandler
Chandler is a division of J.D. Irving Limited and operates in six locations in Atlantic Canada. Chandler’s divisions include sanitation, food services, apparel, security and communications, industrial and safety supplies. Chandler continues to grow its business and drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.
This role will work closely with the leadership team at Chandler.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and present financial summaries and business insights to management.
• Analytical support for capital projects and other key business initiatives
• Financial support and analysis to support operations and enhance performance.
• Support and maintenance of existing reports
• Design and development of new reports and dashboards
• Participate in period forecast and budget process.
• Special projects and ad-hoc analysis as required.
Successful Candidate will possess the following:
• Professional accounting designation
• Proven success in a financial analysis role
• High attention to detail and ability to understand detailed data as well as the big picture.
• Effective communication skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate with other departments and build strong working relationships .
• Ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize in a fast paced and dynamic team environment.
• Knowledge of Cognos, TM1, Power BI and Tableau considered an asset.
