About Psychology And Neuropsychology

The Psychology and Neuropsychology Departments promote the highest level of care for our patients. The Departments provide services on all three campuses of Austin Health and across the full spectrum of care, including acute, subacute and ambulatory/outpatients.

About This Role

This exciting new role offers a unique opportunity for a Clinical Neuropsychology Registrar to acquire skills and experience in a wide variety of clinical presentations and gain Endorsement as a Clinical Neuropsychologist. Over the two-year registrar program you will be supervised by an expert and supportive team of Clinical Neuropsychologists who are passionate about providing the best practice care for patients.

The Clinical Neuropsychologist Registrar will rotate through clinical services such as acute inpatient, outpatient, subacute and rehabilitation. You will be provided with individual supervision, professional development and learning opportunities.

About You

To be successful in this role you will:
• Have a post-graduate degree (ie Masters’/Doctoral level) in Clinical Neuropsychology from an accredited course
• Have current registration as a psychologist with AHPRA
• Be eligible to commence, or have commenced, a Registrar program for Endorsement in Clinical Neuropsychology
• Be interested in gaining experience working in a hospital setting across a range of different clinical areas
• Demonstrate a willingness to seek, accept and benefit from supervision to support learning and professional development
• Have high level interpersonal and communication skills
