You support our team as
Responsibilitiesarrow_right
• Order placement of raw materials based on MRP/SAP by reviewing material requirements and orders as per demand and Maintaining MRP parameters (safety stock, lead times etc.) in ERP system.
• Management of open orders to expedite / push out as production schedule requires.
• Price negotiations and supplier Development.
• Inventory control and reduction plans for Raw Materials.
• Inter-company communications on material status as required.
• Work with planners on unforeseen requirements.
• Member of the new product development team representing Purchasing by assisting the Engineering Department to procure materials not yet required by production but for upcoming projects.
• Back up for the MRO and supplies Buyer.
Qualificationsarrow_right
• Associates degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience directly related to the job function.
• Must have a minimum of 3-5 or more years of experience in Procurement Supply Chain in the Medical Industry.
• Expertise in ERP/MRP and pull material flow systems. SAP is a must.
• Experience with Purchasing Processes based on FDA and ISO quality procedures.
• English proficiency, B2 as a minimum, and strong verbal and written communications skills to communicate with all levels of Associates and Suppliers.
• Expertise in managing supplier contracts with key suppliers.
• Experience in working on technical products with engineering and new product development teams.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and Power Point.
• Knowledge of Molding processes and procurement of resins is a plus.
