If you are looking forward to introducing efficiencies, driving improvements in key metrics, and engaging with your colleagues to deliver on some of the most innovative enterprise technology products, then this is the place for you.Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6- months you will work toward completing?Within days of employment, complete all the onboarding formalities and learnings, understand various pillars of the O2C Biz Ops team, their functionalities, their vision and get trained on standard operational activitiesWithin days of employment, you will get trained on complex order processes get certified in standard Order management processesWithin days of employment, you will be fully trained & certified on all complex order processesWithin days of employment, you will start Interacting with cross-functional business, operations, and IT teams to support the order-to-cash process and related initiativesWithin days of employment, you will become an SME (Subject Matter Expert) for various lines of business and core focus areas and front-end initiatives that will maximize business agility, participate in projects and initiatives related to quality, data migration, SKU testing, and operational efficiencyThe Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?Handle complex order processing tasks, ensuring accuracy and alignment to all compliance guidelines including SOX and export regulationsSME (Subject Matter Expert) for various lines of business and core focus areas and act as Operations backup for the Lead where neededChallenge the status quo and identify transformational ideas and suggestions that improve operational efficiencies, partner experience, and simplicity of operationsInteract with cross-functional business, operations, and IT teams to support the order-to-cash process and related initiativesParticipate in projects and initiatives related to quality, data migration, SKU testing, and operational efficiencyRegularly connect with the operations team and managers to understand new automation requests, prioritize the requests based on set criteria and be the advocate for the operations till automation completionInvolved in change management activity and will be responsible to prepare and deliver presentations online/in-personWork with Global teams spanning different time zonesDeliver on ad-hoc assignments including reporting and analytics per business requirementsWork with Global teams spanning different time zonesWhat is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?This role will report to the Manager – Order Management based in Palo Alto, California.The Complex Order Management team is an integral part of Order2Cash BizOps and is made up of + senior Individual contributors across 3 sites (India, US, and Costa Rica) along with 3 people managers responsible for managing complex orders processing, project participation, drive large scale strategic programs on the scale, operational efficiency, input and output quality, and new system implementationThe team works on a forward together approach with a transformational mindset and liaises with the senior leadership team and people leaders within the organization to deliver frictionless purchasing and consumption experiences for our customers, partners, and colleagues.Where is this role located?Flexible: The role is considered flexible and will be a mix of working from a local VMware office and remote depending on your preferences and the arrangements determined with your future manager.
