Description:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for building and executing holistic marketing strategies and tactics for TEKsystems Global Services (TGS). Specifically, this role will drive Amazon Web Services (AWS) go-to-market initiatives including but not limited to, omni-channel marketing campaigns, content strategy and positioning, product marketing, events, email and social marketing This position will support TGS' go-to-market strategy by developing, executing and optimizing marketing and go-to-market strategies that may or may not utilize partner marketing funds. The Marketing Supervisor will work with partner leaders, partner sales managers, Sales and Sales Enablement to define objectives and opportunities and translate business priorities into fully formed marketing campaigns, overseeing campaign execution, tracking and reporting. This position will work closely with marketing team members and sales enablement to provide project management of new projects that arise with strategic partnerships. The role will lead and support execution of AWS and TGS joint marketing campaigns and demand generation programs. You will design and program manage multiple and simultaneous marketing programs, including partner events, creation of external communications and drive lead generation and determine return on investment. This position has frequent interaction with both high-level internal and external executives and will apply leadership, strategic thinking and hands-on execution skills to our rapidly growing marketing portfolio.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Develops strategies to design, implement and execute innovative multi-channel marketing programs for AWS

Leads discovery strategy calls with key stakeholders for marketing campaigns to define approach, tactics and best practices for ROI

Manages and organizes the execution of marketing campaigns/programs with keen focus on AWS

Collaborate with marketing team and sales enablement to determine deliverables and deadlines

Establishes key marketing KPIs and measures results accordingly

Works with sales teams through Salesforce lead campaigns and educates the internal audiences on best practices for successfully managing ROI

Determines the creation and development of internal and external communications related to marketing campaigns

Establish strong relationships with internal/external customers, marketing team and sales enablement

Requisite Abilities and/or Skills:

The primary charter of this role is to support TEKsystems Global Services go-to-market strategy by creating and executing innovative marketing with AWS

Plays a critical role in defining partner co-marketing strategy and execution of the programs

Proven analytical skills with the ability to assess relevance of tactics and programs as they relate to business objectives and strategies

Project management experience preferred

Outstanding interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively in a team environment, is customer focused, action oriented with tact and diplomacy, and maintain composure in high stress environments

Comfortable in fast-paced environment that values creativity, self-motivation, candor, reliability and accountability

Strong organization, multi-tasking and time management skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint and other event technology programs. Experience with Splash, Kapost and Salesforce highly preferred

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related field

Partner marketing experience with a focus on systems integrators; previous experience with cloud providers preferred; AWS experience strongly preferred

Experience in creating and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns

Management of marketing campaigns in Salesforce preferred

Minimum of 5 years of marketing experience, B2B preferred

Must be open to travel to corporate (Hanover, MD), meet with stakeholders and attend AWS events
