Full Time Opportunity

General Description

Analyze reports and / or transactions to determine which accounting entries apply. Manages monthly closing processes, including variance explanations and accruals analysis. Prepare financial statements, notes to the financial statements, and regulatory reports. Support the operation or business units in the solution of outstanding items in general ledger accounts and consultations. Complies with established due dates. Manages internal and external audits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Excellent analytical skills to identify situations as they arise, provide alternatives, and collaborate in the decision-making process.
• Knowledge in GAAP and FASB regulations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, both in English and Spanish.
• Expertise in the analysis of financial information.
• Proficiency in the preparation of financial statements and ability to engage in business discussions.
• Assist in the accounting evaluation of special transactions or consultations referred by the business units.
• Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new accounting pronouncements.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to be a team player.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in MS Office: Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, concentration in accounting or finance.

CPA is a plus.

Experience

At least two to three years of experience in the full accounting cycle and preparation and analysis of financial statements.
