What´s the Role?

Lead the Demand Planning function and ensure collaboration with cross-functional teams to maintain devices and accessory sales forecasts that align with the strategies and objectives of the business including coordination with Merchandising, Marketing, Finance, Operations and Supply Chain. Responsible for monthly sales and upgrades forecasting and the development and execution of initiatives to help in achieving this forecast, considering sales trending data, device roadmap launches, device end-of-life, competitive offers, sales incentives, device obsolescence, on-hand and in-transit inventory, and expected supply chain timing.

How can you add value?
• Partner with Sales and Marketing Line-Of Business (LOB) teams to find solutions to balance sales goals with supply chain risks.
• Collaborate with Financial Planning and Supply Chain teams to drive accurate sku-level demand plan.
• Collects and documents quantifiable market intelligence from business partners and incorporates into final demand forecast.
• Provide launch, phase in/phase out and transition plans for new, discontinued and replacement devices.
• Conduct master scheduling analysis to ensure that forecasts and manufacturing schedules are aligned and integrated.
• Drive planning recommendations using risk sensitivity analysis to show impacts of demand/supply scenarios for product promotions and new product introductions.
• Provide regular updates of demand plan performance and changes to supply chain executive leadership.
• Monitor weekly key important metrics to hold partners accountable for the successful delivery of key strategic targets and objectives.
• Represent Demand Planning in Cross – Functional Business Reviews to highlight risks, opportunities, and trends within the business.
• Accountable for creation, accuracy, and management of all financial reporting requirements in coordination with the finance department and affiliate teams for management review.
• Lead the development, review, and implementation of an accurate forecast for use in financial, planning, purchasing and supply chain processes.
• Help manage the relationship with devices and accessories OEMs.
• Identify areas of risk and opportunity to the business plan due to internal/external factors and alert Management. Drive the continuous improvement of the demand planning and inventory management processes and systems.
• Monitor performance vs. the forecast throughout the month identifying any key shifts or trends. Analyze forecast variation/deviation with the goal to minimize out of stocks and prevent the build of excess & obsolete inventory.
• Serve as a subject matter authority for overall demand planning, pricing, promotional planning, in-stock/retailer demand, and a conduit for supply planning processes.
• Own and communicate the global demand plan, along with changes/exceptions therein, to partners.
• Work to continuously improve key demand planning performance indicators such as (W)MAPE.
• Support in the implementation/management of S&OP process via reporting, ad hoc analytics and facilitation of monthly meetings.
• Identify potential gaps in demand/supply forecast and resolve deltas.
• Provide statistical forecasting models and or Supply Chain demand recommendations to finance for short and long-term forecasts.
• Demonstrates and ensures compliance with the Customer First Philosophy, all Liberty Latin America's policies and procedures including the Code of Conduct and Liberty safety standards and procedures.
• Other functions may be assigned.
What do you need?
Education and/or Experience:

MBA/MS (preferably in General Management/Finance/Supply Chain) or BS/BA in Supply Chain, Business Administration or Business Management, Management/ Science/Economics/Finance, or other engineering fields.

8-12 years of related experience in Supply Chain, Merchandising, Business, eCommerce, Technology, Finance, Product Management, Category Management, Consulting, or equivalent.

Experience with a) Product/Program management, b) Process excellence and transformations or c) Automation.

Other Qualifications:
• Fully Bilingual (Spanish and English).
• Ability to lead high impact cross functional initiatives while effectively handling both internal and external partners.
• Superior attention to detail/highly organized, strong sense of accountability.
• In-depth knowledge and experience with forecasting processes and methodologies.
• IBP/S&OP experience in large, high growth environments.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
• Solid Analytical tool kit- SQL & Tableau, Python or R and any other analytics tool are preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills, enabling individual to establish partnerships working with senior leaders and across organizational lines.
