role will make an impact:

Instructional Design and Training Delivery
• Work closely with areas subject matter experts to understand business processes, site procedures and training needs for different site functions.
• Develop training materials following instructional design principles and adult learning principles which include development of the lesson plans, learning objectives, training modules, classroom exercises, presentation materials, handout materials and learning assessments to ensure the effectiveness of learning events.
• Educate the site functional areas in the optimum training methodology and learning assessment using risk-based approach.
• Schedule and deliver/facilitate technical training courses or modules as per the annual training plan.
• Participate in the coordination of training activities such as orientation for new or transferred colleagues and contingent workers, annual training, enterprise/quality training requirements.
• Develop and deliver departmental orientations in close agreement with functional area leaders/trainers
• Coach trainers from different functions to ensure that they follow the train the trainer guidance during training delivery and preparation of training materials, document training events and follow site Training SOPs.
• Deliver GMP, Safety and/or corporate trainings such as but not limited to Global Train the Trainer, Blue Book, Integrity Pledge and others.

Execution of training system maintenance functions
• Document training activities (OJT, Orientation, GMP, etc.) following applicable SOPs.
• Participate in the evaluation of quality events by applying the Pfizer Human Performance principles to identify learning related root cause.
• First point of contact for any system issues reported so that they may be escalated where necessary to the LMS local or core team.
• Execution of training system maintenance functions (Cont.)
• Prepare and analyze metric reports and distribute among functional areas.
• Apply continuous improvement tools and methodologies to the effective and efficient performance of the training system.
• Coordinate the execution of the strategic site training plan which may include technical, development and cross training initiatives and strategies.
• LMS and PDOCS administration
• Create, update, maintain and control items and curricula items of assigned functions.
• Issue training reports and provide support during regulatory or corporate audits.
• Work with areas’ management to create or review training curriculums as needed to assure all positions at the Site has a meaningful and up to date training curriculum.
• Maintain integrity and GMP compliance of colleagues and contingent workers training records via electronic or paper-based systems.
• Provide guidance and support to departmental data entry function.
• Verify procedures and/or forms to move them to the required status (effective, superseded, or obsolete).
• Maintain official copy of official master copies of local and regional SOPs.
• Maintain official copy of local/regional SOPs.

Minimum requirements:
• Knowledge of API and/or Drug Product Manufacturing is highly desirable.
• Strong presentation and training management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Creativity and the ability to apply innovative techniques to the design of training.
• Knowledge of instructional design and adult learning principles.
• Five plus (5+) years’ experience developing and facilitating technical training programs in a pharmaceutical or consumer products manufacturing site.
